There is not much new to report from the past few days, Nick and I have been taking it easy. Saturday was a bit of a draining day for both of us emotionally, so we have laid pretty low and kept to the villa. We have made a couple trips to the grocery, and cooked some delicious meals consisting of pasta and salads, but happy to report that Cristina arrived today, as we all know how much I love to cook 😉 Cristina and Lucia arrived this morning with focaccia and various other breads in hand, then later on there was a delivery of fruits! The bread is amazing and I will have to watch myself with it… But thank goodness for all the stairs, maybe they will counter balance.

Morning latte with a beautiful view |
The students began trickling in early this morning, with most of them arriving by mid afternoon. Those of them that had arrived sat down to lunch with us. I have no clue what we had, but it was quite tasty. Cristina the cook then left roast beef, with potatoes and some lunch left overs in the fridge for us for dinner. The students checked out the villa grounds, Nick and I called home and chatted with everyone for awhile, then we all grabbed some dinner and afterwards headed out for gelato with some of the students. This time around I tried mente and Nick strawberry, better then our first go around!

Tomorrow the rest of the students should arrive, as well as the villa director Silvia, so I think that things will start to take off a bit more and hopefully my blog posts will become a little more interesting, especially when we start to travel.
